Art Students Recognized at Moore College of Art and Design

Several of our students had artwork on display at the Widener Memorial Foundation Gallery at the Moore College of Art and Design. Their work will be on display from December 4, 2009 through January 27, 2010.
Featured in the exhibit are:
- Laura DeCarlo, 8th Grade
- Maria Sands, 8th Grade
- Alexa Stephens, 4th Grade
- Sophia Valenti, 6th Grade
- Ashley Go, 3rd Grade
Of those students, Laura DeCarlo received First Place in the Celebrating Creativity 2009 Exhibit at Moore. She received a scholarship to attend the award winning, nationally renowned Young Artists Workshop. In addition, Maria Sands received the Honorable Mention Award. We are so proud of all our young artists!
